The BROctopus (Blue-Ringed Octopus) is basically our Poulp (the Green Ringer tribute) equipped with our PPRSS system (relay switching). This addition allows the user to momentary use the effects while holding the footswitch, and auto-release when you leave the footswitch alone.

Bigger 125B enclosure to leave space for the micro-controller.

Design history : The request was made by one of our fellow enthusiasts to build a Poulp with the Momentary function. The only way to do that for now is to include the PPRSS system inside a bigger enclosure. The idea took our cute little poulp to a deadly Blue-Ringed Octopus (if you don't know what that is yet, have a look on google, it's... well, deadly). So here it is, with the purple-blue-ish rings and the angry look.

Voltage : 9Vdc center-negative.

An excellent Green Ringer clone

Used on my board to add octave to my other fuzz pedals, works excellently. I would say it's more octave than a fuzz so does need to be stacked with a drive or an overdriving amp to get the most out of it. Also likes neck pickup and tone rolled off to get the cleanest octave effect.
